WindArt Systems (Vertical Axis Wind Turbines)

Wind generators capture the power in the wind and turn it into electricity. Of the two main types of turbine vertical and horizontal we work with Vertical.

Why Vertical Axis?

Aesthetically Inspiring: Designed to be uniquely aesthetic and compatible for the areas where we live and work. The low-profile, unobtrusive designs blends in easily with the surrounding environment, like a line of poplar trees.

Virtually Silent: Vertical axis turbines have maximum noise level of about 45 dB when standing close by well below noise levels of many turbines on the market.

Low Environmental Impact: The low turbine velocities mean that birds and flying animals can see and avoid them.

Easy to Install: No cranes, no guy wires. We pour a concrete foundation and assemble the unit on the ground. Once the foundation has set, the installation can be completed in just a few hours. Plug 'n Produce to simply begin providing power.

Simple Design: Being able to take advantage of wind from any direction vertical turbines take advantage of lower and gusting winds. Not having to turn into a wind means they are less complex and lower cost to maintain.

Did You Know...
Wind Is Another Form Of Solar Thermal Power

While some parts of the earth land, water, and the air itself warm up in the sun, other parts of the earth cool down due to the lack of sun. Warmer air rises and cooler air falls, the temperature differences cause air to move, and moving air is what we know as wind
